At Dune Trekking, we aim to provide transparent and fair refund and cancellation terms for all guests. By booking any tour or service with us, you agree to the following policies.

1. Cancellation by Customer

All cancellation requests must be sent to us in writing (email/WhatsApp message accepted).

Cancellation Charges:

  • More than 7 days before the tour:
    10% of total tour amount will deducted.
    – Any additional amount paid can be used as credit for a future booking.

  •  48 hours before the tour:
    – 30% of total tour amount will be charged.
    – Remaining amount (if any) can be used as credit for future travel.

  • Less than 48 hours before the tour / No-show:
    100% cancellation charge.
    – No refund or credit will be provided.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Deposits

  • Add-on services booked specifically for you

  • Customised/private tour arrangements

Unused Services

No refunds will be provided for:

  • Early departure

  • Late arrival

  • Missed activities

  • Unused portions of the tour

2. Cancellation by Dune Trekking

We reserve the right to cancel or modify a tour due to:

  • Extreme weather conditions

  • Government restrictions

  • Safety issues

  • Low participation

  • Operational reasons

If we cancel the tour:

Customers may choose one of the following:

  1. Full refund of the amount paid, OR

  2. Free rescheduling to any available date, OR

  3. Credit voucher valid for future bookings

Note: We are not responsible for additional costs such as flights, hotel bookings, travel expenses, or any external bookings made by the customer.

3. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours in advance.

  • If slots are available, we will reschedule without extra charge.

  • Within 48 hours, rescheduling will attract a fee of 20% of the tour cost.

4. Weather & Safety Policy

In case of extreme climate conditions (sandstorms, heavy winds, rain), tours may be:

  • Delayed

  • Modified

  • Moved to an alternative location

  • Rescheduled

Safety of guests is our top priority.

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
Refunds will be issued through the same payment method used during booking.

6. No Liability for External Costs

Dune Trekking is not responsible for:

  • Flight/train cancellations

  • Hotel no-show charges

  • Travel delays

  • Loss of personal belongings
